Moonlit Tranquility

Moonlit Tranquility was painted in oil on 24x18 canvas in January of 2021.  This painting was inspired by watching a Kevin Hill video who I enjoy mainly because he, like Bob Ross, encourages your own creativity and the joy of painting.  I have seen in my own short career in art too many stiff, do it my way, instructors who have an innate ability to stifle one's creative process probably unknowingly.

This night scene is likely brighter than it would be in reality, but dark enough to give the sense of being out at night enjoying the stars and crescent moon without too much distraction from artificial light.
